Dear Parents
Our students have done amazing. The students participated in their heart challenge this past week. They walked or ran on the track for a full 30 min. All children went at least 1 mile (4 laps) and many went 2 miles or more.
Our total as of today 3/3/23:
$14,727.28 raised in donations
144 Students collecting
105 Students have qualified for the color blast
19 more students are halfway there to qualifying for color blast
33 students have completed Finn’s Mission
9 students have found a golden egg in their mystery prize ( 1 mystery prize for every $50 raised)
We have 1 week left before we wrap up our Kids heart Challenge for the year. You will need to have all donations sent by Friday March 10th. You do not have to collect online. The students can bring in cash or checks (made out to American heart Association) and I will be sure they receive their prizes earned.
Please remember a student will need to have a minimum of $50.00 in donations to participate in the color blast on track and fun day (Pre K through 5th Grade) on April 14. We have several students that are already collecting and are close to $50.00.
**Next week we will be teaching the elementary students about Hands Only CPR. Be sure to watch for the information to come home so that the whole family can learn this.
